Dickwella Beach is good at most seasons for watersports. The beach is uncrowded and the local fishermen are very friendly and willing to take you out fishing or snorkelling. They may even take you spear fishing for cuttle fish! (October/November) The local fishermen use the traditional orus or motor boats.
The waves are usually excellent for bodyboarding although always take advice from the local fishermen. We have some bodyboards available. Standing boards may be hired from Dickwella Beach Hotel by the hour or you are welcome to bring your own.
